2024 Audi RS6 and RS7 Performance price and specs

The Audi RS6 and RS7 twins-under-the-skin are now faster than ever, with the arrival of the new 'Performance' variant in Australia – coming at a $9300 premium.

  • 2024 Audi RS6 Performance and RS7 Performance pricing and specifications
  • More power and torque for V8 performance cars
  • Upgraded equipment for both models
  • Priced from $241,500 plus on-road costs

The 2024 Audi RS6 Performance and RS7 Performance models are arriving in local dealerships, coming at a price premium compared to their predecessors but with a significant power boost.

As previously reported, the Performance grades replace the standard RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback variants, carrying across the same design but with a handful of subtle tweaks.

Each of the models are $9300 more than the vehicles they replace, with the Audi RS6 Avant Performance starting from $241,500 plus on-road costs while the RS7 Sportback is priced from $248,500 plus on-road costs.

The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine in the RS6 and RS7 has been upgraded with a larger turbocharger to now produce 463kW and 850Nm – an increase of 22kW and 50Nm compared to the outgoing models.

Power is still sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, which Audi claims can propel the high-performance large cars from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds – shaving 0.2 seconds from the non-Performance model’s sprint time.

Audi claims the models have also been treated to a diet, with soundproofing removed from between the engine and cabin plus the rear of the cars – in addition to new-look 22-inch wheels which are each 5kg lighter and wrapped in 285/30 Continental Sport Contact 7 tyres.
