2023 Jaguar I-Pace recalled due to potential floor crack
A potential crack in the electric SUV’s floor pan may increase the risk of a seat malfunctioning in an accident.
Jaguar Australia has recalled seven I-Pace electric SUVs over concerns relating to a manufacturing defect.
The affected vehicles are stamped (and were sold in) 2023.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: "Due to a manufacturing defect, there may be a crack in the body floor pan.
“As a result, the crack may widen. This may impact the seat anchorage performance."

“In the event of a collision, if the seat anchorage does not perform as intended, it may increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.”

Jaguar Australia encourages affected vehicle owners to contact their local dealer and arrange an inspection of the SUV’s floor plan.
If it is found to be faulty, the component will be repaired free of charge.
