BMW has introduced an updated X1 SUV range in Australia this week, following its unveiling in December last year.

Kicking off with the same $46,300 starting price offered in 2013, the renewed X1 range is now equipped exclusively with an eight-speed auto.

Other updates for the sDrive models include a lightly refreshed exterior, new 17-inch alloy wheels, satin silver roof rails and a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel.
