2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe review

Read the full review here. Mercedes-Benz has been building jaw-dropping coupes for decades, or at least, for as long as I can remember. From 1961-71 was a particularly creative period for the German luxury car manufacturer, which saw the likes of the 220SE, 250SE and 280SE coupes released...

2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC review

http://www.caradvice.com.au/497331/2017-mercedes-benz-glc-coupe-review/ The ability for Mercedes-Benz to seemingly have an answer for every automotive question has been further illustrated by the local launch of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. It’s the second SUV coupe derivative for the German manufacturer, and the fourth act of coupe-ness in the current lineup, following S-Class, GLE, C-Class and now the GLC...

2017 Mercedes-Benz E200 Review

Read the full article here. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E200 is an intriguing luxury sedan. On the one hand, it doesn’t get the power and performance of some of its more brawny siblings within the E (and indeed C-Class) portfolio, but on the other, it gets all the luxury inclusions, safety and technology at a hard to believe starting price...

Mercedes-AMG Old v New: 2015 SLK55 v 2017 SLC43

To upgrade, or not to upgrade? That is the question. When a new model of the car you own is released, it's only natural to look at what has changed to see if the update is worth the time, effort, and most importantly, cost...

The new-all Volvo S90 and next-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class take on Audi's A6 to see which is the king of European plus-sized diesel sedan. It turns out that there's much more to play for in this segment beyond big legroom and low fuel bills...

Luxury sedan comparison part two: Audi A6 v BMW 5 Series v Jaguar XF v Mercedes-Benz E-Class

It's time for the final showdown, where the winner of last month's luxury sedan test goes wheel-to-wheel in a winner-takes all fight against three of the established, premium (and German) stalwarts. That means our Jaguar XF has returned to battle for the British against the Teutonic might of the establishment: the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class...

BMW, Mercedes-Benz may cut some coupes, cabrios to trim model ranges

Executives from both BMW and Mercedes-Benz have admitted that their model ranges suffer from too many models, and they may need to do some pruning in future years. 2017 Geneva motor show: Epic from-the-show-floor experience

If you don't already know, Geneva is in Switzerland. And while some Aussies might miss having motor shows here in Oz, few will see that as enough of an excuse to splash out to attend a major international one. Luckily, this year's 2017 Geneva motor show (on until March 19) was my first, and it was so good, I didn't want anyone to miss out...

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Review

My previous car ownership consisted of mainly Japanese performance vehicles - WRX; Evo; s2000; Civic B Series. So, as I got older I wanted something nicer, something less Spartan. I then spent a few years in a Volkswagen Golf GTi MK6. Nicely built car but had some reliability issues. But that's another story. So when it came time to look for a new car, I decided on a C63 estate...

2014 Mercedes-Benz ML350 CDI BLUETEC (4x4) Review

I am struggling for the first time in my life as it is time to trade my 2014 ML350. I do not want to give this car up. Comfort and performance coupled with safety features such as Distronic Plus and 360-degree camera, lane departure features and the distance warning bell and auto slowing down make this car magic...

1982 Mercedes-Benz 230 E Review

This is a 34 year old car with 31,000km on the clock. Yes, really. But more on that later. First, let me go right back to where my love affair with the W123 Mercedes-Benz began: Colombo, Sri Lanka – in the year 1988. The road outside my house was a pot-holed nightmare, teeming with old rust buckets, tuk-tuks, bollock carts and even the odd Elephant carrying a man on its back...

2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 Review

100k sounds a lot but there is a whole lot of car here - so impressed. This is my 9th Merc since the 1980's so I've seen and experienced them evolved, from S classes to my 1996 280 SL. Letting go of the SL to the C300 coupe was worth it, these modern Mercedes or cars in general are on another level...
