Creepy new TV campaign for SA

Yet another shock tactic TV campaign was launched last night in an attempt to stop the motoring public “creeping” over the speed limit.

The ad was put together from actual footage collected from CCTV cameras and footage sourced directly after road crashes in the state of South Australia and uses horror movie music and snippet filming to portray those who drive slightly over the speed limit as “creepers”.

Mazda MPS3 at Tasmanian tarmac challenge

Watch the Mazda3 MPS as it secures a worthy victory in the showroom class at this year’s Tasmanian tarmac challenge.

Driven by 20-year-old rally star Brendan Reeves and his co-driving sister Rhianon Smyth, the MPS3 finished eighth outright, secured a convincing showroom win and a top ten finish after two intense days of racing.

Video Classic: Behind The Wheel 1994

For those of you who have perused the ‘About Us’ section of CarAdvice, you may have noticed our very own Anthony Crawford was an Executive Producer of an Australian car show called ‘Behind the Wheel’.

Now I’m not going to lie - I had never seen or even heard of the show before, but I was certainly pleasantly surprised after I had seen the pilot episode on an old VHS tape.

Fifth Gear Volkswagen Scirocco review

It may have been knocked back from entering the US market due to its confliction with the existing Golf GTi, but Volkswagen’s stunning Scirocco has just been flogged by the guys at Fifth Gear and it comes up trumps.

Utilising Golf GTi running gear, the Scirocco benefits from a lower wider and sexier body amongst a few other neat tricks which Tom Ford happily demonstrates in this video.
