Video: Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 police car hits Monza circuit

By Brett Davis |

The Italian police know how to do it; seen here taking their highway patrol car out for a track day session. And why not? Their idea of a patrol car is a blistering Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, made for this kind of thing.

Although the car is not really meant for ‘highway patrol’ services. Just two of these Gallardos were given to police authorities so they could be used for transporting human organs and so on. Still, it looks quite cool and its good to see the police isn’t afraid of putting the car through its paces. Check out the video below captured and put up through Marchettino’s YouTube channel.

Haha, at a track day I bet the last thing you expect to see in your mirrors is a police car!

Gotta love the Italians. The government might be broke, but at least the Carabinieri are looking bene.

I wonder if you can be pulled over and fined for being to s3xy?

Uniforms by Armani and Valentino and side arms by Beretta.
Thats why Japan or Korea will never built a classic car.

Japan has been in recession almost every year since 1990.

Plus the government there prefers to squeeze people into the trains, literally.

Gotta love the Italian attitude. The boys in blue can actually take time out of their busy schedules for a little track action, and they arent frowned upon. Bellissimo!

Actually in some ways, I wish you had not posted this. The NSW Govt is flat broke, and always looking for innovative new ways to raise revenue.

You see, they will look at the data (in this case this video) and like everything else, completely screw up the interpretation of information, but in a way that benefits their bottom line.

Well, I am getting to the track next week, hopefully before these new laws are implemented here… :-)
