All-new Forester unveiled in Japan

After weeks of leaked photos and rumours, Subaru’s all new third generation Forester has been officially unveiled in Japan. Details are still scarce but we do know the new generation Forester is wider, taller and has more cabin space than the current model.
Subaru Australia has confirmed the MY09 Forester will land here in March with pricing and specifications still to be announced.
So far more than 90,000 Australians have taken a Forester home with nearly a 1000 more joining in per month. The Forester has been on sale in Australia since 1997 and has gone on to be one of the more successful models in the Subaru family.
Expect a lot more on the Subaru Forester next year.

Yep, Paris does nothing for me. Thick as s..t and there’s plenty of women who look 10x better than her AND have brains. Only going for her is money.
New Forester looks like a step forward, although still not my cuppa tea.

Not sure whats happening to Subaru styling lately. This looks like the Mitsubishi with a different front tacked on.

All the new subarus are getting the same grills new tribeca and this car the new forester (except for Impreza)
does look a little bigger which is a good thing because the only thing letting current model down is rear seat room! thats why we traded our 05 model for a 07 liberty wagon to get bigger back seat/boot. so next time we may look at forester again in xt turbo model of course..

It looks like a cross between my wife’s Rav 4 and a Nissen x Trail.
Subaru make gr8 cars ( I have the current forrester ), but boy, are they ugly.
Also, if the new car is as thirsty as the old one, I won’t be buying one. The desiel may save them ?
