Casey Stoner wins two cars
December 11, 2007 by Karl Peskett
Hands up everyone who’s jealous of Casey Stoner. Good, that’s everyone. Well, now you’ve got even more reason to let that green eyed monster run wild.
Apart from the fact that he gets to legally speed every week, gets to mingle with some of the most beautiful grid girls from around the world, and has ethereal abilities on two wheels, he now has two more cars to add to his collection.
This week, Alfa Romeo has presented to Stoner a custom built Spider 3.2 V6 JTS Q4, finished in red (of course) to celebrate his MotoGP world title. It is sitting on the Alfa Romeo stand at the Bologna Motor Show, in Italy, and has original designs plastered all over it, inspired by his helmet, and the laurel wreath of the 2007 World Champion.
The car will be shipped to Australia once the motor show closes, but that’s not where the story ends.

As if that wasn’t enough, BMW has awarded a new M3 to Stoner for qualifying fastest overall during the 18-round 2007 MotoGP season. Out of 18 qualifying sessions, he grabbed 12 front row starts outpacing his rival Valentino Rossi by 2.184 seconds overall.
Stoner will collect the car in Switzerland next month.

Not only does he have a cool name LOL, but he’s a legend too.
He also received a Brera last year from Alfa and a Ducati Monster for his birthday. He must have a pretty cool garage.
On a side note, his shoulder doesn’t need operating on after all, meaning he should be ready for pre-season on Jan 22
A BMW M3? Where is BM?!
Why would he own a Alfa Romeo Convertible, Jeezzzz………….its so lame and gay! The BMW is alright, but the Alfa, wrong choice!
And whats wrong with Gay ???
Its the most silliest car and most stupidest car company in Italy! I’d never own one! Probaly sell it!
Alfa sponsor the Ducati MotoGP team Duck.
Good on him.
The man deserves it.
Hey Duck – did you ever consider his gorgeous wife might like to drive the convertible?
I’d love that convertible, Alfa Romeo make some of the most beautiful cars in the world.
The sooner they fix up their engines (needs more power) and quality issues, the sooner they will dominate their segment.
Here I am ME……….been busy with customers all day……rude of them I know!
I had already heard that he won an M3………lucky boy!!!!
Your right about Alfas Alborz ,great sounding engines though!
I spoilt my Mum when she came over earlier in the year and hired her one of these when she looked after the kids, she loved it! Mind you the fuel cap is tricky on them!
Hes so good on a bike and yep good on him..he and his parents have taken a lot of risks to get where he is now! Well deserved.
Ah Im thinking thats not the car hes won though…….its left hand hook! Love those Angel eyes!!!! How cool does that look!Sigh………
You right it’s not the M3 he won, it’s just one for the photo shoot.
Did you know the alfa romeo convertible won the 2007 gay car of the year award!
No; really Duck – where did you read that.
I mean I spend my time in Newsagents it the Automotive-Motorsport section buying Motor; Wheels; Top Gear; V8x etc.. you must be in a different section?
Duck – Both the Bimmer and Alfa were given to him as a prize [not his choice/decision].. read the article again
Yet to say that Alfa ore one of the silliest car companies in Italy.. Their heritage is nearly as long and prestigious as Ferrari or Maserati
Then there’s the Alfa Schigera with its awesome power grip performance and handling not to mention looks.
Wheelnut……………forget it! Hey I have scanned a picture finally of the A9X …..but I don’t have your email address to send it to! Can I ask Alborz to give it to me??{That came out wrong!}
he won these quite a few weeks ago now.
he actually got presented a model BMW on stage at the awards, immitating what he would be receiving off the stage.
Alfa use to push with promotional adverts a lot more than they do here now aswell. i wonder why they arent pushing them like they used to……
as from what i remember with pricing they were pretty good value for a 2 door sports car
Yep I agree! And different to look at !
he problably could buy these cars thousands of times over with what he makes or is going to make
Duck how is driving an Alfa Romeo convertible gay?
Please explain? Also please explain how much insight you have into the gay world?
It’s true i found this on a car website earlier this year! Im not joking! It’s true!
The LHD M3 isn’t fit for Oz. He should request for a right-handed version.
