Even though this video is in German, it’s the first piece of footage we’ve seen of the extremely rare, one-off Lancia Stratos driven on a track.
The bodywork and panels are made completely of carbon fibre. The engine, as suspected, is a Ferrari 430 Challenge Stradale 4.3-litre V8 with matching driveline. Dimensions such as track and wheelbase are also said to match that of a F430, although overhangs front and rear could be different. Notice the car is still under development with parts of the steering wheel missing.
Watch as Michael Stoschek, the guy who funded most of the project, takes it for a spin. And if anyone knows a bit of German, please feel free to provide us with some translations as to what Stoschek is saying.
