Looks stunning in real life, photos don’t do it justice
Have to disagree – I don’t like the headlights, and the chrome B-pillars look incredibly tacky. In the USA, it’s become a big fad to put fake chrome B-pillars on cars, so cars that have real chrome pillars end up looking cheap (sadly).
I used to think the same thing, thought it was pig ugly…but then i saw one on the road and it all made sense…. simply stunning.
I’m sure that if you purchase one, you can opt out of the chrome B-pillar trim, and replace it with any other finish that you desire.
The cars in the pictures have black or chrome.
Does anyone know why we don’t get the Brooklands 2-door coupe here in Australia? The one that was released in 2008?
We did get the Brooklands coupe. They only made 550 of them in total and 2 or 3 made it to Australia. Now that was a behemoth of a car. Just breathtaking; like this wonderul beast.
I love everything about this stately home except for it’s dazed googly face. Why did they have to make it look like it just took a shot of morphine. It was gearing up to be such a magnificent piece of engineering, but then that face.
It would be a hard choice choosing between this and the phantom. I love the phantoms interior because it doesn’t look like a traditional car interior, remove the dashboard and it looks like a small room. I’d ride in the phantom, but I’d rather look at a mulsanne parked in my driveway, outside a resturant I was dining at etc..
The Phantom costs about $400,000 more if that makes it easier. Maybe a hard decision between this and the Ghost.
I’m amused that I still see elements of HK Brougham in the door pressings from certain angles.
It’s a likeable looking bus. The countryside looks very familiar and reminds me of my circumnavigational drive of Loch Ness and return to Inverness nine months ago. Is that where you went, guys?
there’s a documentary on how they made this on youtube
Thanks Yani. Just had a peek. Yes, Loch Ness and surrounds, it is. There’s a bit to get through, so it’s paused until lunch
Love is this. Oh dear I am nursing a semi.
Lol retractable bentley logo as optional…id like to order one with my company logo
I’m going to ask this yet AGAIN – why don’t we get the Brooklands in Australia?! Click on my name to see a photo of it. It’s a brand-new (relatively) model introduced about 2 years ago, but still hasn’t come out here?!
See my comment above Ricky. We do have some Brooklands’ in Australia. They’re just super exclusive.
How do you know we have Brooklands? We have the old (pre ’08) Brooklands but the new model is not listed on Redbook.
Ricky, I can say with 100% certainty that the Brooklands was released in Australia. How am I so certain? Because there’s a particularly good-looking black example rolling around the Gold Coast.
@Ricky: Because I know the person who sold one, and the person who bought it.
Wow! Bentley Mulsanne is really such a next big thing!! It’s design is really expensive yet classic. I like the style and the fashion that is inside. Of course, machines that are inside it are much different from the past.
