Colin McRae Tribute

September 20, 2007 by George Skentzos

No doubt by now you have heard the sad news of legendary World Rally Car driver Colin McRae’s unfortunate passing.

As a fitting tribute here is a video which perfectly displays his immeasurable skill, determination and passion.

Below is recent footage from Colin McRae’s final race at the 2006 X Games held in America. He may take home the silver medal, but his spirit is nothing short of golden.

To put into perspective just how talented Colin McRae really was, despite rolling his Subaru Impreza WRX on the final jump, he continues to finish the race only 0.13 seconds behind the leader.

A true champion.

A true legend of our time, basic, natural skill, I really wonder how well he would have done had he gone into F1, people like that are just born for racing!
