Mazda loses 4700 cars

Just when everything was going right for Mazda, something had to give, and something did, the Couger Ace (Singapore vessel) tipped over near Alaska recently, and while it is still unknown whether or not the ship has actually sank, at least the crew were all rescued.

Unfortunately though, for some 4,700 Mazdas - including some 2,800 Mazda3s things aren’t looking too good. Mazda says a plan for salvaging the vessel is being developed and will be executed by Mitsui OSK Lines as soon as possible. However Mazda will not comment anymore on the situation as of yet.

Reminiscent of that lawyer joke - what do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean……a good start.

I doubt cargo containers are waterproof. Those cars might be good for recycling but thats about it.
