Seat Ibiza ST – Geneva 2010

By Matt Brogan |

Seat is Volkswagens Spanish brand and have just revealed the new Ibiza ST model.

The ST is the newest addition to the Ibiza line-up and adds extra space in the back. The wagon joins the sporty SC and hatchback.

With 430 litres of space in the back with the rear seats up the ST has the ability to carry larger loads.

The wagon’s competition will be the Peugeot 207 SW and the Mini Clubman.

There is a choice of three petrol engines and two TDI diesel engines both available with a five speed manual gearbox or the six speed DSG automatic/sequential manual gearbox.

Standard equipment includes speed-sensitive power steering; electric heated door mirrors that fold; electric windows; fog lights with cornering function and climate control.

i dont see the point of these news, we dont even sell this car or brand in australia. if it was an exotic car or new ferrari than the interest would be there just for curiosity.

Because believe it or not, people from all over the world visit this site, not just Australians.

here we go again with the Ford and Holden….get out of your little shell.
for your information i have driven these types of cars for many years.
im from a tiny country right next to spain which is where Ibiza is made…so i know these and many other european cars probably better than you do.

yes maybe people from around the world might read this website but the percentage would be very tiny…i rarely see any comments from overseas apart from the odd one here and there from UK.

i stand by my comments, not relative to the target audience \”AUSTRALIA\”

I quite like the Ibiza (ee-bee-tha) hehe. I’d have one over any of the other small hatch backs, easily.

Looks better than the Golf Wagon…
