Video: Ken Block Rally Fiesta ice practice

By George Skentzos |

After announcing his switch to Ford, Ken Block is becoming acquainted with his new Fiesta rally car on the ice roads in Gladwin, Michigan in preparation for the first race of the year in the Rally America series.

This encounter marks the first time Ken Block has been behind the wheel of his 2011 Monster Ford Fiesta Rally America entry, and seems quite adapt even on the slippery ice roads.

Sorry, but I think this show boating seppo is going to get trounced by the Euro drivers. All show, no go as they say. He has got talent but not enough to end up on the podium in a WRC event.

Let the guy do his talking with his stage times. Heck, he’s only just started out and he’s already being torn down.
He’s got a great platform of talent to work off. He’s only doing this America Rally this year, working up to WRC. I’m keen to see how he goes. There’s only up

he beat colin mcrae in a super stage a few years back, his got the skills, once he learns the tracks and car he will do well, cant see him beating seb loeb, but he will do well.

He beat Colin McRae because McRae crashed into a barrier and was stuck on two wheels! McRae was a legend but he was known for sometimes going too hard.

I’d have to agree.. he’s the airfield motorkhana / gymkhana self proclaimed world champion BUT…… there’s quite a big difference between doing donuts on an airfield and World Championship Rallying.

Good to see him willing to find out how he measures up, there certainly won’t be anywhere to hide if he’s a dud! Lets face it, the WRC is abit thin on the ground at the moment with most of the WRC cars filled with rich daddy pay drivers!

Well he has Chris Atkinson acting as support thorughout the year, hopefully a budget becomes available for a 2nd car for some rallies.

He’s got his head screwed on he knows he’s not going win races this year. Good Luck to him
