  • AAA

Well, this should give Honda more reason to jack up their service fees and maintain a premium on their products.

  • MJ

Why dont the fools call it the Jazz or Fit in EVERY market? Toyota COROLLA, Ford FOCUS, Hyundai i20!

    • Who?

Corolla hatch in Japan is called the Auris…has also been known as Allex and Runx in the past. Mazda have different names too, so I’m not sure what you are on about.

      • Devil’s Advocate

Exactly. Australia and New Zealand are one of the few countries left with the Corolla name. The majority of markets, ie Europe etc, use the Auris name plate. Toyota Australia fought head office tooth and nail to keep the name as they didn’t want a Nissan Pulsar/Tiida incident! Just like Holden, even Toyota know that Australians are afraid of change… ;-)

        • MJ

Ok. Sorry. I didnt realize that Corolla is given different names in different markets!

        • Mark G

Um, the Corolla name remains strong in the US and will likely never be changed there. It was only changed in countries where it wasn’t a strong seller.

Well spoken by AAA. Trust me when I say, they will. They will use this award all the way to the bank.

What’s with the focus on Honda in this article? Perhaps a more broad piece could have covered the entire Top 10 list, which also included:

    *Cadillac CTS/CTS-V
    *Mazda’s MX5 & 3
    *Audi S4
    *BMW M3
    *VW Golf GTI
    *Porsche Boxster/Caymen
    *Ford Fusion Hybrid

In relation to the Aussie market, Mazda deserves just as much praise here as Honda.

    • Shak

Because the article is about Honda

      • Neil

My point is, the article (for some odd reason) focuses upon Honda when there are other (Australian-sold) products also down on the Top Ten list.

        • PaulS

Neil, to be honest I reckon it’s only fair that Honda gets the mention.

They often don’t get the publicity often in the Australian Motor journalism with the likes of Ford (+ Mazda), Holden, Toyota and the European brands here.

This is nice post. I have read other post also but this is unique. I loved headlight of Honda fit.
