2014 Jaguar XF Coupe spy pics

November 2, 2009 by Matt Brogan

CarAdvice have this morning received the following renderings of what is believed to be the upcoming 2014 Jaguar XF Coupe.

Although details are sketchy, pardon the pun, we can see hinted at the rear of the car’s profile tail lamps similar to that featured on Jag’s next full-size saloon, the XJ.

The striking coupe is said to be ’small in stature’ reflecting our belief that the model will be based on the XF rather than the XJ, but one thing’s for sure, which ever way you look at it, this is one sexy cat!

dont know if i like the back, it falls off to softly, giving the car a look of lazyness :(

  2. Deco says:

Anyone else thinks this car has a similar profile to the future audi used in Will Smiths movie, iRobot?

  3. matt says:

I’ll be very happy if that’s the headlights they use (maybe update the current XF with ‘em)

  4. Shakeel says:

I think they should have just chopped off two doors from the XF and they have their Coupe. The XJ’s rear looks good on the XJ, they should have kept the Aston-esque and changed the headlights, which in this rendering look very nice.

  5. Baddass says:

Will this replace the XK? Because already the XK is considered to be the coupe version of the XF, as they are of similar size.
Also 2014 is quite a long way away to be releasing renderings and the like innit? I am quite sure the production car will look nothing like this. The end result of Stealing the headlights of the XF concept and the taillights of the XJ to make a rendering isn’t really that realistic. I’ll take this rendering with a good few grains of salt thanks.

  6. Captain Mainwaring says:

What is the point of having this AND the XJ? Do Jaguar really think they won’t cannibalise each other?

  7. Peter says:

I think what CM meant is what is the point of this and the XK. Good question. The XF is meant to be a 4 door XK, now this is meant to be a 2 door XF (huh?). It depends on rear legroom, I think. The XK pretty much has none – about the same as a 911, or a GTR – you couldnt even get kids in there. If this has some decent rear legroom/headroom (and actually I think that’s doubtful, coz the XF sedan isnt enormous in the back as it is) then it would be a real alternative to the XK and the XF. I think though that Jag are talking about a 2 seater called the XE in the cayman class, but I dont know whether this is it.

  8. Mr Brooksy says:

Wow! Thats one great looking coupe! Look out Germans the Indians are on the march!

  9. Ken says:

These are not real pictures from Jaguar, this is some geezer in his bedroom with a few images from car mags having a play on his new PC Mac.
