Now Nissan has extended this offer to the new crop of 370Z customers who will join the Race Academy ranks to find the ultimate Nissan performance driving champ.

Customers in the UK buying either a 370Z or a GT-R by the end of September gains automatic entry into the exclusive Nissan Race Academy ranks.

They will race for more than just bragging rights, with the participants battling it out for the prize of a lifetime awarded to the quickest driver of the pack.

The top 20 drivers of the year will face-off as they compete for the title of Nissan Race Academy Top Gun 2009, an honour which will entitle them to a whole season of high octane racing behind the wheel of a specially prepared 370Z entered into the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup.

Initially set up to give GT-R customers the chance to experience the full capabilities of Nissan’s supercar up to 12 months ahead of taking delivery of their own car, the Race Academy was a huge hit in its debut year of 2008.

I am surprised. I don’t actually like the 370Z but it looks quite good in white.

  2. Jake02 says:

Lol this ‘news’ doesn’t even apply to Australia!

  3. Yanzo says:

Am I allowed to make an off topic comment? My nieghbour has had the RACV come 3 times this week to start his VE Commodore. I then read this….Adding to the problem, the flat batteries allegedly require a \\\’deep cycle charge\\\’ at a Holden dealer. This may explain the experience of one caller to the program, who said that on a run to Queensland his vehicle had required eight roadside assistance calls along the route.

Holdens breaking down all over the country and Caradvice has not reported it…..why not? If it was Falcons it would be front page!

  5. Steven says:

What the hell has this got to do with Australia? I’ve noticed more non-Australian based stories appearing here.

Of course motor shows etc are not Australian based but they do affect us down the line.

    Caradvice,
Just so you know I am a nissan fan. And just because people knock stories like this doesn’t mean that nobody wants to read them. I actually found this news more interesting than many of the other stories. So if you don’t want to read the story, or dont like it. Dont read it!

  7. Bulldogs says:

Nissan Australia , should have a Nissan Race Academy down under , that would surely boost sale up!!!!
