Video: Capturing the Bugatti Veyron for Forza 3
September 3, 2009 by George Skentzos
Yesterday we brought you news that the V8 Supercars were featured in the highly anticipated Xbox 360 racing sim, Forza 3, and now the developers have also confirmed the addition of the Bugatti Veyron.
The announcement video goes beyond the game, illustrating in detail just what it takes to shrink a life-size Veyron to suit a virtual race track and the challenges faced by developers to convey the driving experience of the Veyron as accurately as possible.

Looks like they’ve stepped up to Polyphony’s level of detail in the cars modelling. If Microsoft put the same amount of detail into the games physics it will be as good a game as GT5.
Forza’s physics has always been ahead of GT. Forza correctly simulates things such as tyre pressure/temp etc, GT does it also…but doesn’t do it convingsingly enough to believe that it is real. Yes, GT is ahead of Forza in some departments, but overall – Forza Motorsport is an outstanding simulator and can teach the GT team a lot about making a sim racer.
And what an interesting video, no one can say that video games are “toys” and this proves it.
when the game comes out, i’ buying it
And….don’t forget Dirt2 is only weeks away!! Two awesome driving games coming up :D
Now…to build that gaming chair….hmmm…a trip to Bunnings and the wreckers coming up ;)
The physics just look unbelievable, a Veyron would understeer well before pulling power slides as depicted.

Pre-ordered my collectors edition the other night. Any body know what the car packs you get with collectors edition are?
