Holden Colorado LS-X brings extra features
The Colorado LS-X model gains a range of extras over the LS, consisting of 16-inch alloy wheels, an alloy sports bar, front fog-lights, a "Colorado" branded bonnet protector (smoked finish), LS-X badging, and carpet - rather than vinyl - flooring.
Holden says the additions "save customers more than $1000 on accessories", and it is priced $1500 above the LS.
The LS-X is powered by the same 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 147kW of power and a class-leading 500Nm of torque, and it can be had with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox. It has a shift-on-the-fly 4WD system, too, as well as benchmark braked towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes.
Holden is sweetening the deal with free servicing until 2020 (offer ends 31 Oct 2015), and lifetime capped-price servicing thereafter. Maintenance is due every nine months or 15,000km.
The new LS-X is available in showrooms now, and there are just 750 available Australia-wide.
