CarAdvice supports 2009 Victorian Bushfire Appeal with three auctions

With the help of some very generous Australian manufacturers, CarAdvice will run three auctions via eBay over the next 10 days which will see a raft of automotive merchandise go to auction, ranging from caps, right through to a signed copy of Ari Vatanen’s book Every Second Counts.
For the first auction, Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) have generously donated a signed jacket for us to auction off. In addition to the jacket, if the winner of the auction resides in Victoria, we’ll collect them in an FPV vehicle and take them out to lunch with the rest of the Melbourne CarAdvice team.
The second auction includes a HRT jacket generously donated by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV). The jacket – signed by Garth Tander and Will Davison – will also include a luncheon with the CarAdvice team if the winner resides in Victoria. We will of course collect them in a HSV car, so their new jacket looks more fitting.
The last of the three auctions will inclue a heap of merchandise from the likes of Volkswagen, Land Rover, Skoda, Lexus, Land Rover and Ari Vatanen’s signed book.
If located in Victoria, the winner of the third auction will also take part in the lunch with the other two winners and the CarAdvice team.They will be collected in a BMW vehicle sure to impress.
It would be great to see the CarAdvice community chip in and support the countless people displaced by the terrifying Victorian Bushfires. Surely lunch with the handsome Melbourne CarAdvice team alone would be worth its weight in gold, and that’s a LOT of gold!
