Saab was in the works with Subaru to use the Impreza WRX as the basis of their new car.

This new 9-3 will be running an AWD – turbo drivetrain so some of Subaru’s philosophy has obviously rubbed onto Saab.

Frankly i would like to see GM out of SAAB

    Ditto Ford out of VOLVO

Perhaps the 2 Swedes could get together to survive and prosper.

Not a hope in hell of me buying one of either of those brands while its owned and run by no_idea Americans

    YUK!

I thought you were a Holden man?

  3. Damo says:

CLearly a bitterly confused holden man IMO lazybones. Doesn’t even know what he is on about.

  4. Myke says:

Volvo are doing pretty well with Ford ATM. As for Saab, it is moving a bit slow right now but that should pick up in a few years time.

  5. nev says:

    Are they crystal lights?

    :O
    *SHOCK HORROR*

The previous 9-3 and 9-5 were much better designs than this

Not knowing what they are talking about Damo? R32 Golf / Skyline ring any bells? Haaaaaa

I agree that I screwed up because I don’t usually tend to look at VW’s lineup of cars but I have since them and are quite pleased with everything that they have on offer. Most people would have picked up that I thrive on brands such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan (sports cars only), so you can’t blame me for not taking as much of an interest in European cars, it doesn’t matter though because I am a dual citizen of the UK so it isn’t as if when I go to Europe in a few years time I won’t cath up with the cars sold over there. I also have every season of TopGear so there is a substantial encyclopedia of knowledge horded away on my computer. At least I use my actual name not some rediculous name such as “OttoAu” with bogan screaming all over it. So basically, please don’t even dare to compare me to someone of his type. I was also fairly out of it when I posted those comments no fully reading it and thinking you were comparing an R32 GTR in the first place so it isn’t entirely my fault.

You think Saab would have learnt their lesson after attacking the 95 with the chrome gun, but no, they have to go and do the same with the 93.
