A Brisbane-based Lexus LFA has gone pink for October in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Lexus of Brisbane’s pink $700,000 LFA will be on display in the showroom, which will also embrace the pink theme along with the dealership’s customer welcome packs.

There’s no need to panic, however. The pink livery is simply a vinyl wrap meaning the 412kW/480Nm 4.8-litre V10-engined supercar, which can accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach its top speed of 325km/h, will be back to normal following the campaign.

Lexus LFA - Chrome

Earlier this year a chrome-wrapped Lexus LFA made its highly reflective way to Sydney’s MotorEx show, making the super rare Japanese road-weapon even more exclusive.

I thought for a moment Paris had bought herself a third LFA. :)

I still can’t believe chrome wraps are legal! This is a country that has full sun beating down it often and that car could realistically blind other drivers for a few seconds causing them to crash. And it looks so tacky. Whoever approved that probably thinks they have good taste. They do not.

How meaningless… They could donate half of what they charge for service and still make a profit. This is just an empty gesture.
