Mazda Australia Sale Statistics Jan-Feb 2007
Mazda is doing better than ever! For the first time in its history Mazda Australia has achieved more than 6000 sales in two consecutive months (January and Feburary 2007). In February Mazda sold 6365 vehicles, the companies best February result in its Australian history! While in January it retailed a benchmark 6627 vehicles.
"Obviously our sales are on a roll at the moment and we intend to maintain this throughout March by continuing to focus on our strengths - we will offer our customers great vehicles and fantastic value". managing director of Mazda Australia, Doug Dickson said
So far in 2007 Mazda has sold 12,992 vehicles, a significant jump of 19.6 per cent over the same time last year, giving the company its best yearly sales start ever.
Mazda's best selling car was unsurprisingly the Mazda3 and for the second month in a row the Mazda3 retailed more than 3000 cars, with its sales reaching 3014 in February. Meanwhile the Mazda6 had another strong month with 1134 retails and Mazda2 continued at record sales pace with 629 sales.
Mazda's new crossover SUV, the CX-7, gained more sales momentum retailing 592 in February, 42 more than January. Mazda's commercial utility range posted its best ever February result with 647 retails.
