Video: Hamilton gets spotlights for night race

September 20, 2008 by George Skentzos

Martin Whitmarsh, CEO F1 Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, gives us a sneak peek at the changes being made to Lewis Hamilton’s F1 car in preparation for the Singapore Grand Prix night race – including a set of four high-powered spotlights.

In case you haven’t realised, this video is a send up – good to see the McLaren team have a sense of humour, now just wait for the Force India team to line up on the grid with an identical set of spot lights.

At least the team still has a sense of humor considering how crap they have had to put up with this year….

      Go Lewis, FTW!

Great to see them send themselves up like this. F1 needs a bit of humour besides the stewards decisions.

Ha. That’s very subtle and very, very funny. Martin Whitmarsh has missed his calling.

Even the mechanics keep a straight face.
