Lamborghini Release Teaser of New Paris-Bound Model

A very subliminal press release arrived in our inbox from Lamborghini early this morning. It simply read: “It’s not just a new Lamborghini. It’s a new world.”

Ok, so it’s obviously the rear of a new vehicle of some description, and we can tell that this new car incorporates a subtle carbon-fibre diffuser, and some centre exit exhaust outlets that could only be the work of an Italian based motor company.

Is it a four door coupe? Is it a follow up to the highly acclaimed Reventon? Your guess is as good as ours.

Expect to see the see the car officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show next month.

    LM002 suv concept. I love the new world claim. Why not say, ORIGINAL YET DERIVITIVE!
    Just what the world needs, another ‘supercar’.
    If it’s electric or hydrogen maybe…

    Looks good but needs more Carbon fibre. Oh no another fake venturi. (the exhaust pipes kinda ruin the airflow) They really are the new black. All those fake plastic ‘body cladding’ of a few years ago ending up becoming the new diffuser! A bit off topic i know but what else is there to talk about in this photo?

    The fun begins. My guess will be either a modernised Marzal or Espada. The giant horizontal swathes of honeycomb mesh remind me of the former which actually became productionised as the Espada.

    And a new Espada has been in the rumour mill for a while now.

    i really don’t it would be a Lambo SUV (although i reccon that’d be really cool).

    however, i didn’t know what an Espada was untill i googled it about 50seconds ago, and its kinda gross – even if it is an icon…

    chances are though, it probably is an Espada, given the fact Porsche have the upcoming Panamera and AM has got their Rapide.

    Maybe the idea of this teaser for the Paris debut is to steal the spotlight from the Panamera? who knows…

    anyway, back to the picture, above where i assume the liscence plate is meant to be, are 2 diagonal lines, maybe for a boot lid?

    either way can’t wait to see it!

    Twilight, Google Marzal while you’re at it. It knocked ‘em in the aisles in the late sixties and became a Matchbox favourite to boot!

    Good call on the espada.. Quattroports (sic) are doing ok… Panamera is coming. Two teaser shots in two days..
    Would than mean front (mid) engined?
    Hmmmm.

    looks pretty high off the ground (for a lambo)….. im thinking its carrying more luggage than usual either way.

    I hope it’s the Espada, would hate to see another Reventon. Nothing more than a LP640 in a new fancy bodykit with a ridiculous price.

    Bring it on!! Had my bedroom walls covered in Lamborghini Countachs as a kid!! Other forums have comments that say it is a four-door based on the Audi A8 platform. There are just too many things that can come into the equation, all I know is that Lamborghini don’t make many bad cars!!! As I said…Bring it on!!

    I hope for a 2 door 4 seater.

    My guess is either a sedan, miura or maybe even a folding hard top cab to take on the california
