Despite production of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren ending in 2009 and the two brands going their separate ways, they have been brought together one final time in the form of the McLaren Edition SLR at the Essen Motor Show in Germany. The McLaren Edition SLR is not strictly a new car.
