    That is stunning.

I just hope it is built well and won’t rust in 3 days.

“On a quiet day, if you listen carefully, you can hear the Alfa’s rusting.”

Great styling but will be affordable in Australia or will the 207 Peugeot GTI be a far better package?

it will be priced directly against the mini cooper and it’s a pretty bloody good alternative to the mini! My wife has wanted a mini ever since the new version was launched but i just showed her this and now she is leaning towards the alfa!

They should stick with the Brera headlights across the range. This looks a bit Picachu to me.

Beautiful car and a real good name.

    Alfa Romeo mito
    Pronounced Alfa romeo me too.
It must be the way italians pronounce me to.
    It makes you wish one.
Even though the name means legend in Italian.
And stands for mi(lano) and To(rino).

I agree with the one who wrote ” I just seen my next car”
I am currently owing a 156 1.9jtd sw and did not thought of change my car :)))

Nice front and side but the back of that car is seriously ugly. Lets hope these are just development prototypes which are refined for production!

Looks crap… will be the most unreliable vehicle on the road… no deal.

  28. Vote -1 Vote +1Adam - 130i driver

Fantastic looking car. Will Alfa fit all the luxury of alfa interiors into it though? I hope so. Definately worth a look.

  29. Vote -1 Vote +1Babs
    says:

Wow TP your logical reasoning is undeniable. Got anything to back up that assumption?

As for the MiTo, it looks great- let’s hope they put out a decent GTA version- I’ll be buying one.

Yep he would babs………….its not a Toyota! Geez hes unbelievable.

  31. Vote -1 Vote +1Stallion

Mi.To is short for Milano and Torino, Milan being the birth place of Alfa, Turin the city of production.

  32. Vote -1 Vote +1Andy
    says:

Saw a video of the interior on http://www.wheels24.com. Stunning. Friends 147 and 156 has not rusted at all. Thats an old fashioned statement. In South Africa it will probably come with a 100000km maintenance plan. So won’t worry about reliability. I’m definately buying one if it is affordable. I’ll pay up to R230k
