Alfa Romeo Mi.To official images leaked
Official images of Alfa Romeo’s answer to the Mini Cooper have found their way onto the web.
Widely known as the ‘Junior’, these images reveal the new car will carry the ‘Mi.To’ nameplate.
Using the same platform as the Fiat Grande Punto, it will be available with a variety of engines from an entry-level 1.4-litre unit to a 171kW turbo adaptation for the GTA.
The Alfa Romeo Mi.To is tipped to feature a 6-speed manual transmission as standard with an optional automatic.

That is stunning.
I just hope it is built well and won’t rust in 3 days.
“On a quiet day, if you listen carefully, you can hear the Alfa’s rusting.”

To the side it looks like a Hyundai accent and the headlights look similar to the accents.

Great styling but will be affordable in Australia or will the 207 Peugeot GTI be a far better package?

it will be priced directly against the mini cooper and it’s a pretty bloody good alternative to the mini! My wife has wanted a mini ever since the new version was launched but i just showed her this and now she is leaning towards the alfa!

Beautiful car and a real good name.
Alfa Romeo mito
Pronounced Alfa romeo me too.
It must be the way italians pronounce me to.
It makes you wish one.
Even though the name means legend in Italian.
And stands for mi(lano) and To(rino).
I agree with the one who wrote ” I just seen my next car”
I am currently owing a 156 1.9jtd sw and did not thought of change my car :)))

Mi.To is short for Milano and Torino, Milan being the birth place of Alfa, Turin the city of production.

Saw a video of the interior on www.wheels24.com. Stunning. Friends 147 and 156 has not rusted at all. Thats an old fashioned statement. In South Africa it will probably come with a 100000km maintenance plan. So won’t worry about reliability. I’m definately buying one if it is affordable. I’ll pay up to R230k
