nice vid.
every school mum with an x5 (or vauxhall vr8) must now get a cayenne gts.
the kids will never be late for school again.

for goodness sakes.. if you want a performance car then go buy a performance car! Why waste your time with an SUV, i mean no matter how good the porsche and BMW are, they will still be inherintly flawed compared to a conventional performance car.
Reckless1
Rich0, you get the prize for the stupidist comment today.
The Cayenne is 2 seconds faster than the BMW and the VXR8, which IS a “conventional performance car” as you put it.
So, if you had 55,000 pounds, youd be a fool to look at the VXR8 or the BMW, which are both SLOWER.
Mitch
your talking about straight line, what about corners?
Reckless1
Mitch, you’re taking the pills too.
The video states that the Cayenne is 2 seconds faster around the track than the other two.
When I watched it, there seemed to be a few corners, but not many straight lines.
Rich0
Hey Reckless1 – you realise there is a fair old price difference between a VXR8 and a cayenne? Maybe not that big in the UK but here in australia, which is what i’m talkin about, the price difference is pretty freekin huge!
I’m sorry but your stupid if you consider an SUV to be a sports car
http://impreza dlr1
I don’t car if its an SUV or not. The GTS is awesome. I think i’ve made up my mind to buy one… as soon as I strike oil in my backyard.
Rich0
i’m not saying the cayenne isn’t an awesome car, all i’m saying is that its not a sports car, never will be
Bavarian Missile
Im with you RichO ,dumb idea.I think there made for those husbands that want a sports car but the wifey says no,so they buy a fast FWD,at least they have something to brag about at the next SOIREE to there friends then.
Fred
Once they put the M5′s V10, we should see a different result!
Reckless1
Fred, then we’ll just have to fetch out the Touareg R50, which should blow all of them away with its 850nm
Bob
the new f6x (territory) does 0-100km/h in 5.9 so that should take it to bmw and porsche. plus it would be cheaper.
it seemed that it was a waste of time. if you buy one of those cars youre not going to race around a track at 100%. your better off seeing how good they are off-road
Reckless1
You can’t seriously put the Territory in the same league as the X5 and Cayenne/Touareg.
It’s like a fart in a lift in this company – totally unwanted and crude.
Bohnez
After watching the video and seeing these utility vehicles handle around the track, I’m going to have to side with richo. If you want a true sports car, then go buy one. But if it’s more appropriate given your situation to have an suv then the GTS looks like the way to go. Buy an M series if it’s BMW that catches your interest..
