99/100. Looks great, except that side profile where the window sill kicks back up to meet the door. a minor blemish on their first great looking car.

  • TRoy

    Looks fantastic!

Just hope the price is good, ie under $40k.

  • Lcat

Gosh! c’mon place yer bets for the N’ring lap time!

It may become the new car of choice for drifters. There hasn’t been a replacement for the 200sx so far.

  • Car Buyer

Toyota should respond and bring out a new Celica Supra with a V6 sports engine.

Nice hot as car and Hyundai’s day is coming….with 6.9million cars sold under Kia/Hyundai name worldwide, it is only some 2.3million cars behind and not bad for a newcomer!

This is the first time ive ever stopped and admired a Hyundai.. still cant believe its real. Seriously though when i think of Hyundai i picture an obese teenaged girl on her p’s in an exel with pink seat covers. Good on Hyundai!

^^^ don’t forget the playboy bunny sticker on the rear window. hahaha

  • o

    nice

Just Awesome,This will be my next Hyundai. Welldone!

  • ConceptVBS

Genesis coupe will NOT, I repeat, will NOT be powered by a V8 engine. The title should be changed. It will only be powered by a 2.0L Turbo 4 cylinder pumping out 200hp+ and a 3.8L Naturally Aspirated V6 pumping out 300hp+. Both are petrol.

I thinks there’s a good reason why other makers haven’t done a droopy side window. After seeing it again now, I’ve decided it’s crook. The rest of the car looks great, but completely ruined when one of the designers says, “hey let’s try this with the window…”

Credit where it’s due, that looks fantastic. If it wasn’t for the badge, I’d think it was a Lexus.

  • Wheelnut

I agree the droopy rear 1/4 window ruins the profiel of the whole car
Why didnt Hyundais desingers stay with something that works like a simple circular arc like a Porsche 911 or even BMWs hoff-meister kick

I actually disagree with the droopy 1/4 window base how it droops down. If it was straight threw there it would bland up the slab sided look more….in my opinion! Dam hot as car! Like the sedan!

  • Eyna Teapot

I agree with concept vbs, I doubt it will be powered with a v8 but instead with the 3.8 v6 from the granduer, a great engine all the same. As for the rear 1/4 window, i doubt it will be same when the car goes into production. I reckon they will change the wicked bonnet venting as well.Love it. Bring it on!
