Volkswagen Lupo and CrossLupo CGI
February 23, 2008 by George Skentzos
Additional renderings from the Volkswagen stable encompass the revival of the new Lupo city car range – including the standard Lupo and the adventurous CrossLupo mini XUV.
Both models will feature a front-drive layout, and to maintain exceptional fuel economy, a selection of small-displacement petrol and diesel engines.
The Lupo was first introduced in 1998 to compliment the VW Polo which had grown out of its market, however production ended in 2005 when the Lupo was replaced with the VW Fox, despite still carrying the Lupo namesake in some regions.

Not a sweet name. Will do well to compete against Toyota with this in lineup.

Always love watching the various guises of this geyser codger
They look like the Up! which is the new rear-engined car.
Looks like veedub are determined to knock Toyota off their perch. Given superior German style/dynamics if they can be competitive on price then they may make inroads if they are as unrelenting as the Asians.
Naughtyius Maximus, what’s a Cross Lupo? An Angry Wolf? I can see what you mean! :)
