Suzuki boasted one of the most diverse stands at the 2015 Tokyo motor show, and the quirky Air Triser, Mighty Deck and Ignis Trail concepts took centre stage among its myriad city-centric vehicles.
The sensationally boxy Air Triser van has three rows of seats that can be configured to resemble a lounge space. In ‘relaxation mode’ the seats face each other, and in ‘lounge mode’ they fold and slide to create a U-shaped sofa.
Promising “new kinds of fun in the minicar segment”, the Mighty Deck is a two-door, almost ute-like concept with an open loading deck and a canvas soft-top.
Appearing closest to production, the Ignis Trail is a more outdoorsy version of the new Ignis city car, boasting larger wheels and body-protecting wheel-arch plastics, while also gaining unique colours and trims inside the cabin.
