Thomas Bürkle, Chief Designer at Hyundai, tells us about the concepts introduced with the Vision G, and how it will affect future Hyundai models.
The design is said to be centred around the notion of chivalry, which apparently was “a word [that the design team] felt best defined the idea that one doesn’t need to shout to be noticed and respected”.
If the concept vehicle, with its quilted ivory leather, thin lines of chrome and fine wood overlays, is an accurate reflection of the company’s plans for a future Genesis-derived coupe, it will mark a radical departure from overtly sporting overtones of the first-generation Genesis Coupe.
