Ladies and gentleman, allow me to present to you the new 2016 Toyota LandCruiser Prado.
There’s something different about this particular one though that you might not have expected. Let’s take a look…
Notice anything different? This one’s a manual.
Far from a common sight, even Toyota admits that only 100-odd people buy a manual Prado every year.
But the good news? This six-speed manual paired with the new turbo-diesel engine, is a really impressive combination.
It’s great around town, sixth gear is perfect for the highway at 110km/h, it seems to add good fuel economy to the package and it’s a whole lot more like driving a car than it is driving a heavy SUV.
If you’re after a Prado and you happen to be a manual transmission fan, you won’t mind this one at all.
