Mercedes-AMG makes record-breaking 310kW 2.0-litre turbo
…
Mercedes-AMG has commenced production of the world’s highest-output turbocharged four-cylinder engine, produced on a brand-new factory line at AMG’s headquarters in Affalterbach.
The new hand-made ‘M139’ 2.0-litre turbo replaces the ‘M133’ engine that was built at a different site, and while it shares the same displacement, it’s almost entirely new. It’ll power Mercedes-AMG’s fleet of compact pocket rockets, starting with the new-generation A45 AMG hot hatch.
Mercedes-AMG leading development of sportier next-gen SL
…
Mercedes-AMG boss Tobias Moers has confirmed a next-generation SL is in the works, and it'll be more focused on dynamics than the big, heavy current model.

Company boss, Tobias Moers, told us an SUV option wouldn't be given the green light – at least not any time soon.
World's first Mercedes-AMG dealership opens in Sydney

Mercedes-AMG has aggressively expanded its model line-up in recent years, pushing downmarket with a range of V6-powered '43' models. Now, it's expanding its footprint in a very different way, with a dedicated full-service dealership in Sydney.
Rather than rubbing shoulders with four-cylinder A-Classes and diesel vans, the showroom will be dedicated to high-performance cars with a three-pointed star on their nose.
