MG Australia’s flagship store wins five international design awards

MG Australia has won five international design awards for a sculpture displayed in its flagship Sydney store in Alexandria. The sculpture, titled ‘Electric Meets Reality’ is described as an “immersive installation”, inspired by the brand’s first electric car – the ZS EV SUV – which is due in Australia later this year.

Sydney speed limits reduced around new light rail trams

Motorists in Sydney's CBD and surrounds will notice reduced speed limits when they return to work this week following the introduction of the city's new light rail network. In an effort to ensure safety around the recently launched routes, new speed limits came into effect on December 1, 2019, with reductions of up to 20 kilometres per hour in some areas.

Restored WRC Toyota Corolla tackles Sydney road rally - video

Remember the WRC Toyota Corolla from the late 1990s? Well,rallyfans and the like can watch the old race car compete once more. At a recent round of the Whiteline Tarmac Rally Series in New South Wales, a special example of the old rally car hit Western Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek, to compete. This particular vehicle was built and restored by Daryl Bush, technical director for Neal Bates Motorsport. Watch the WRC Corolla in action in the video below:

World's first Mercedes-AMG dealership opens in Sydney

Mercedes-AMG has aggressively expanded its model line-up in recent years, pushing downmarket with a range of V6-powered '43' models. Now, it's expanding its footprint in a very different way, with a dedicated full-service dealership in Sydney. Rather than rubbing shoulders with four-cylinder A-Classes and diesel vans, the showroom will be dedicated to high-performance cars with a three-pointed star on their nose.

Subaru rolls out mobile servicing vans

Subaru has commenced the wider rollout of its new mobile service vans in New South Wales, giving customers the option of having their vehicle serviced at home or at work. First trialled earlier this year, the Subaru mobile service van initially operated in the Sydney suburb of Narellan, and is now servicing the areas around several other Subaru Sydney retailers.
