2021 Skoda Octavia 140TSI Limited Edition price and specs

The 2021 Skoda Octavia range will gain a new sub-RS flagship between July and September 2021: the 140TSI Limited Edition. Priced from $48,490 drive-away as a liftback or $49,990 drive-away as a wagon, the 140TSI Limited Edition is priced just $3000 below than Skoda's halo RS – though it combats a significant power deficit versus the Octavia range-topper with a host of additional standard features.

2021 Drive Car of the Year – Best Large SUV

Drive Car of the Year 2021 - Best Large SUV Given Australia’s penchant for SUVs, the large sub-$70K segment is a fierce battleground. Alongside the promise of roominess and fantastic cargo areas, there’s also the option of seven seats – as all three of our finalists have. Whilst not as practical as the simple van-styled people mover they replace, Large SUVs do offer more as a whole. Some are great off-road, and some are created with performance in mind.

Skoda planning electric hatchback based on Volkswagen ID.3 – report

Skoda is planning to bring a new Volkswagen Golf-sized electric hatch to market in 2024. As a Volkswagen Group brand, it's believed the new Skoda hatch will be based on the 'MEB' architecture which underpins the Volkswagen ID.3 and Cupra Born, according to Spanish publication motor.es. In the ID.3, up to 150kW/310Nm is delivered to the rear axle from a single electric motor, offering a range between 330 and 550 kilometres on a single charge under the WLTP standard, depending on the variant.

2021 Skoda Kamiq 85TSI sales outstrip supply, more stock unlikely before 2022

The 2021 Skoda Kamiq is about to experience a second delay since the small SUV went on sale locally – this time though, it's due to sales demand. Skoda says sales of the Kamiq 85TSI will exhaust its current dealer stocks within a matter of weeks, with "little likelihood of re-supply before the end of 2021". The company says the Czech factory where the Kamiq is manufactured is unable to keep up with international demand.
