The Skoda Kodiaq RS – the fastest seven-seat SUV to lap Germany’s Nürburgring – will be in Australian showrooms by the end of the year.
Pricing is yet to be announced, but the Kodiaq RS – powered by a twin-turbo 2.0-litre diesel (176kW/500Nm) and with a claimed 0 to 100kmh time of 7.0 seconds – is expected to cost in excess of $60,000.
Skoda has released yet another set of teaser images for the new Kodiaq RS, ahead of its full reveal at the Paris motor show early next month.
We've already seen glimpses of the exterior changes and been given some of the mechanical details, but this time the Czech brand has given us a full view of the exterior – albeit in drawings, not photographs of the vehicle.
Skoda Kodiaq RS on the way, but sub-Octavia RS models won't happen
The Skoda Kodiaq RS, a hot version of Skoda's largest car to date, is on the way, although it's not clear when it will make its debut.
Christian Strube, head of research and development at Skoda, confirmed in a chat with Evo that the Czech company will produce a performance version of the new Kodiaq crossover, which will, as expected, wear RS branding.
