Lexus and Mazda Australia top customer satisfaction table

Lexus and Mazda cleaned up in the 2019 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction awards, based on findings from its single-source survey with a claimed sample size around 50,000 Australians. Lexus won the ‘Best of the Best’ award, given to the company with the highest average satisfaction of all 41 category winners. The awards do not merely focus on automotive, but various other sectors as well.

Isuzu Ute wins major customer satisfaction award

A car manufacturer took out Roy Morgan’s ‘Best of the Best’ trophy in its annual Australian Customer Satisfaction Award earlier this week, given to the company with the highest rating across all market categories. This winner was… Isuzu Ute (IUA), which managed a 96.1 per cent satisfaction score, nudging it ahead of supermarket Foodland (93.5 per cent), bottle shop Dan Murphy’s (93.3 per cent), the Heritage Bank (92.9 per cent), and insurer RACT (92.3 per cent).

Tide turning for green cars: 'Majority of buyers' keen on hybrids

More than 50 per cent of Australian new car buyers would seriously consider buying a hybrid, while diesel's popularity is starting to wane, according to a new local study. According to the latest Roy Morgan Automotive Currency Report, 51.6 per cent of Aussie drivers aged over 18 would "seriously consider buying" a hybrid vehicle, up from just 48.7 per cent in 2015.
