Renault Sport Performance Parts announced in Europe

Renault Sport Europe has revealed a range of performance-oriented parts for the Clio RS, as the first step towards a catalogue of style- and race-focused pieces for the entire RS garage. The parts will be launched under the RS Performance badge, with the initial offerings falling into two baskets: a line of accessories for track days, and a range of non-car accessories like clothing and workshop parts.

Renault Clio RS18 limited edition unveiled

Special editions are popping up left, right and centre from most manufacturers at the moment, but few companies enjoy themed sticker packs like Renault. The previous Clio RS and Megane RS were both subject to countless Formula 1-inspired special editions, and the current Clio RS220 EDC Trophy has been handed the same fate. Meet the Renault Clio RS18. Named after this year's Renault Formula 1 competitor, just 10 examples will be offered to Australian buyers.

2017 Renault Clio RS and GT Line unveiled

The updated Renault Clio RS and GT Line models have been unveiled with a host of styling tweaks. In terms of design, the revised Clio RS and GT Line models adopt the changes made to the rest of the small hatch range, including the new LED internals for the headlights and redesigned tail-lights. There's also an updated interior with higher quality materials for the dashboard, and the company's latest selection of infotainment and navigation systems. Clio RS

Renault Sport restructured, massive R&D and sales increase planned

Groupe Renault has separated its Renault Sport Technologies performance arm into distinct road and motorsport divisions. Chairman Carlos Ghosn revealed Renault’s plans overnight at the Technocentre in Guyancourt. The result: Renault Sport Racing and Renault Sport Cars. Renault Sport Cars runs development and commercialisation of all RS, GT and GT-Line Renault road cars, including the Australian-market Clio RS and GT and Megane RS, GT and GT-Line models.
