The French automotive group reports: "The front central passenger seat belt could unclip from the buckle when braking or avoiding obstacles". "If the front central passenger buckle unclips, the seat belt would not secure the passenger in the event of sudden braking or an accident, and there is a risk of serious injury."

Lexus SC430: Takata recall expanded

Lexus Australia has expanded its Takata airbag recall for the SC430 sports car, now extending all the way to MY2010 versions. As per the original recall issued in November last year, affected vehicles were fitted with 'like for like' Takata airbag inflators as part of previous recalls. These could still be potentially faulty after several years. For this recall, the affected Lexus SC430 models will have their faulty airbags replaced with non-Takata components.
