Citroen: Next C4 and C4 Cactus to become one - report
…
The next-generation Citroen C4 and C4 Cactus look set to become one and the same, with the company's boss confirming the move for 2021.
Speaking with Autocar, Xavier Peugeot, head of PSA Group, said the two models will "converge" in the next-generation, making the crossover-styled hatchback the sole small-segment offering – set to duke it out with the likes of the Volkswagen Golf, and Peugeot's own 308.
The PSA Group, parent of Peugeot, Citroen and most recently Opel, has announced it will develop an all-new vehicle platform with ChangAn Automobile that will underpin its upcoming one-tonne ute, which will launch "by 2020".
In an agreement signed this week, the French and Chinese companies announced they would co-develop a new architecture to be implemented at ChangAn's manufacturing facility in Dingzhou, China, dedicated to light commercial vehicles (LCV).

Declared European Car of the Year in March, the new 2018 3008 arrives as a dramatically restyled replacement for the dowdy first-generation model that was never popular here. 2014-15 Citroen C4 Picasso recalled for front suspension fix
…
Citroen has recalled its C4 Picasso MPVs built during late-2014 and early-2015 over concerns the front suspension bolts could break.
According to the French manufacturer, the front suspension wishbone bolts may not be to the correct specification.
If the condition occurs and the bolts break, this could cause the wheels to tilt and reduce steering control.
The recalled units were sold from 1 November 2014 through 31 January 2015. A VIN list for these vehicles can be viewed here.
