2019 Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder spied

The rumoured Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder has been spied again, this time doing laps at the Nurburgring. Developed as an open-top companion to the also-rumoured 718 Cayman GT4, the 718 Boxster Spyder is expected to be the last Boxster with a naturally-aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine, as the company moves toward turbocharging its line-up.

2010 Porsche Boxster Spyder unleashed

Porsche has released the latest version of its definitive roadster, the lightweight Porsche Boxster Spyder. The Porsche Boxster Spyder becomes the third version in the Boxster range, joining the Boxster and Boxster S. The new version is a full 80kg lighter than the equivalent Boxster S model, earning it the honour of being the lightest model in the entire Porsche line-up - weighing in at just 1275kg.
