McLaren 720S v Porsche GT2 RS drag race - video

The McLaren 720S and Porsche 911 GT2 RS are two of the fastest supercars on the market right now – but which one is quicker in a straight line? A new video posted on YouTube by Motorsport Magazine aims to answer that question, pitting Britain against Germany in a winner-takes-all drag race. Power in the McLaren comes from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 making 530kW of power and 770Nm of torque, while the Porsche makes 515kW and 750Nm from its twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat six.

Porsche 911 GT2: hardcore rear-drive twin-turbo spied at Nurburgring

The all-new Porsche 911 GT2 has been spied testing at Germany's Nurburgring, confirming a wider, more hardcore version of the 911 is on the way. A model often referred to as ‘The Widowmaker’, the Porsche 911 GT2 combines the four-wheel-drive 911 Turbo's engine with the 911 GT3’s styling and rear-wheel-drive layout.

Spectacular GT2 finish at Sebring

After a grueling 12-hours of racing at Sebring, just half a second separated the first placed Ferrari 430GT from Porsche's brand new GT3 RSR with the winner of the GT2 class coming down to the wire. Their final joust on the last lap is nothing short of spectacular.
