2021 Nissan Note E-Power revealed, no plans for Australia

The all-new 2021 Nissan Note has been officially unveiled, ahead of a Japanese sales launch on 23 December 2020. The third generation of the brand's Yaris-sized city car shifts to the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance's CMF-B platform, shared with the latest Renault Clio, Renault Captur and Nissan Juke.

Nissan IMQ concept revealed

Nissan has revealed its sharp IMQ concept at the 2019 Geneva motor show, claimed to blend "Japanese heritage with state-of-the-art, human-centric technology". Like the IMs and IMx concepts before it, the IMQ previews what Nissan's future models could look like, in a world where autonomy and electrification dominate the automotive landscape.

Nissan design: Rugged outside, warm tech inside

Nissan will return to a boxier, more rugged design ethos for its next wave of SUVs, as previewed by the Xmotion concept in Detroit. At the same time, the company's head designer wants to find "warmth" in technology, and is wary of modern in-car tech's potential to de-humanise the interior. Alfonso Albaisa, the Cuban-American design head for Nissan and Infiniti, told us recently he wants to recalibrate the company's crossover styling language.
