Isuzu MU-X outsells direct rivals again

One of the most commonly asked questions accompnying each month's VFACTS sales report centres around which brand is winning the ute-based SUV sales race. These rugged body-on-frame, towing-ready offerings clearly have a dedicated following. For the sake of one argument, we do not include Toyota's pricier Prado in this sub-segment, but you could argue the case either way.

2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport revealed, here next year

The facelifted Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been revealed, ahead of its Australian introduction "in early 2020". From the outside there's revisions to the front and rear fascias, with the face more in line with the updated Triton ute on which the Pajero Sport is based. Key changes include revised headlights and fog-lights, a new grille, rejigged bumpers, and new alloy wheels, which all add together for a chunkier and more purposeful look. 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport spied

The updated 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been captured in the wild – wearing camouflage, naturally – ahead of its Australian launch before the end of this year. It doesn’t take a Rhodes Scholar to see the revised frontal design of Mitsubishi’s large SUV rival to the Ford Everest and Isuzu MU-X borrows from the revised Triton ute launched at the end of last year, with which it shares a platform and engine.
