COVID-19 forces Mini to change the name of one of its designs

Mini has been forced to change the name of a wheel option offered on its first all-electric car, the Mini Cooper SE, due to an unfortunate coincidence related to the coronavirus crisis. 2020 Mini Cooper SE: Electric hatch teased with plane tow

Mini has amped up the tease for its first mass-produced electric model, towing a Boeing 777F cargo plane to show how much torque is on offer. The new Cooper SE was hooked up to a Lufthansa cargo plane weighing around 136 tonnes at Frankfurt airport, and filmed for a clip posted on social media. It's the first in a series of videos that'll be released before production starts in November.
