2021 Mercedes-Benz SL spied

The next-generation Mercedes-Benz SL has been spied ahead of its global launch some time in 2021. Last year Tobias Moers, head of Mercedes-AMG, confirmed his division was leading development of the new SL, which rumours indicate will be available exclusively as a roadster.

Our spy photographers have spotted the facelifted Mercedes-Benz SL-Class on public roads outside the company's research and development centre in Sindelfingen, Germany. The prototype of the updated SL features black cladding and tape ahead of the A-pillar, as well as some along the rear bumper.
