Poll: 2019 BMW X5 is a styling winner

The 2019 'G05' BMW X5 is a styling hit – at least, compared to its predecessor – according to our latest reader poll. Although it adopts a typically evolutionary design, the new X5 is larger than the car it replaces, and significantly more advanced under the skin.

Mercedes-Benz S400 joins S-Class Coupe range, but not for Australia

A new entry-level S400 4Matic variant has joined the 2016 S-Class Coupe line-up in Europe, but, just like the V12 S600, Mercedes-Benz Australia will be leaving this one alone. Local options for buyers looking at the S-Class Coupe range kick off with the 4.7-litre V8-powered S500 at $319,000, stepping up to the $409,000 5.5-litre V8 AMG S63 and the big V12-driven $499,000 S65.

Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe revealed: 1000Nm V12 meets curve-tilting tech

Daimler's range-topping Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe has been unveiled and it combines a lusty twin-turbo V12 with the company's new curve-tilting technology. Under the bonnet lies a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 cranking out 463kW of power and 1000Nm of torque to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. This will see the S65 AMG Coupe hit an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h and run from 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds.

2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe spied

Mercedes-Benz is preparing a replacement for its two-door flagship CL-Class model which will be appropriately named the S-Class Coupe when it is released. The face lifted version will include LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps and a newly designed front bumper. Unlike the prototype in these photos, the grille of the production vesion is expected to feature just a single chrome bar across it, giving more prominence to the Mercedes badge sitting in the middle.
