2015 Lexus NX, RX recalled

Lexus has recalled more than 2,009NX and RX SUVs produced between May and December 2015, over concerns faulty airbag sensors could cause the inflators to deactivate. The luxury marque says two manufacturing issues could cause an insulation layers of the system IC chips to peel over time, creating an open circuit. If the condition occurs, the airbag warning light will illuminate, and the side/curtain and/or front airbags could be deactivated.

2014-2016 Lexus NX200t and NX300h recalled for brake hold fix

Lexus has issued a recall for 6856 of its 2014 to 2016 NX200t and NX300h SUVs over concerns the brake hold function may not operate as intended. According to the Japanese marque, the parking brake in affected vehicles may not automatically apply in certain situations - like when the driver's seat belt is unfastened - due to improper programming - which could cause the vehicle to roll unexpectedly, posing an accident hazard.
