Renault Zoe: Australian launch imminent with two variants coming

While Renault remains stubbornly quiet on the topic, we can reveal that the Renault Zoe launch is now imminent, with the vehicle recently listed on a government vehicle guide. As revealed by CarAdvice in June, Renault's local arm has gone through the motions of registering the Zoe with Australian government regulatory bodies - a sure sign of intent to bring the little electric hatch to our market.

Renault Australia putting French stigmas to bed

The stigma that French cars are expensive to own and run is dead and buried, says Renault Australia, which now offers superior aftersales care to many better-known Japanese brands. Renault Captur : further delays for French crossover "frustrating" for local division

The Renault Captur is now not expected to land on local soil until towards the end of the third quarter of 2014, despite having already been delayed until about June, and after having initially being due on sale in the first half of this year. Speaking at the launch of the new Renault Clio GT, Renault Australia managing director Justin Hocevar told CarAdvice the local division is “determined” to get the Clio-based Captur here this year.
